What is The Pearson Tutor Center?
The Pearson Tutor Center for math and statistics is a service of Pearson Higher Education, a division of Pearson Education, for US and Canadian, post secondary students. This service provides tutoring in the following areas:
- Developmental math
- Precalculus math
- Liberal Arts math
- Applied math
- Applied Calculus
- Calculus
- Discrete math
- Linear Algebra
- Differential Equations
- Abstract Algebra
- Introductory Statistics
Tutoring Available in Spanish.
The Pearson Tutor Center offers its services for mathematics and statistics in Spanish. Our Spanish-speaking instructors are standing by to help during our convenient study hours. Please request this service if you would prefer to be tutored in Spanish.

We Help Students.
Students can contact the Tutor Center up to three (3) times per night by any combination of phone, fax, email or interactive web. Students will receive uo to 15 minutes of tutor attantion per contact.
Using the textbook for which they registered, students will receive explanations of concepts and illustrations. In addition, our instructors will assist with exercises in the textbook that have answers in the back of the text (usually the odd numbered problems).
Additionally, students can seek help with the use of basic, standard, and graphing calculators, particularly the Texas Instruments series. Assistance is also available for textbook problems requiring the use of MATLAB, Mathematica, and Maple.

Who Can Use The Pearson Tutor Center?
College students who have purchased a Addison-Wesley or Prentice Hall all mathematics or statistics textbook that includes any of the following resources may register with Pearson Tutor Services at no additional cost:
